At the very core of my role as a therapist, I value the relationship that emerges with my clients. It is through our therapeutic relationship, that I help you develop insight, see yourself in new ways, and form more effective ways of relating to others. I approach my clients with compassion, support, and a gentle straightforwardness that allows us to push past the walls that get in the way of developing closeness in your relationships.
I am an integrative and relational therapist, primarily incorporating psychodynamic/interpersonal and mindfulness based orientations.
“What is psychodynamic therapy” you might be thinking? It involves looking at how you got here, where you currently are, and where you are headed. The past, including our early lives & relationships, informs and shapes who we are as adults.
Through insight and exploration, we are able to strengthen what’s currently working for you and tackle the areas that need additional support.
